Lance Johnson teams up with MeccaGodZilla, Melanie Aguirre, & more for Art on the Ave NYC to celebrate Hip Hop 50

During the week of August 11th, the elements of Hip Hop brought together in one location at the Oculus (World Trade Center in New York City).  It was a huge honor to team up with Lance and Melanie Aguirre for an all-elements performance repping for Fire (Breakin & (Street)Dance), Wind (Writing/Graffiti), Water (MCing), & Earth (DJaying).  I played my original beats as Melanie freestyled and flowed using dance to represent the elements. It was such a fun and interactive experience with Melanie, Lance, and all spectators present – What I loved is that many international folks/tourists made time to immerse themselves in our cypher to enjoy the performance.

I want to thank and shout out all of the other performers, artists, and everyone who dropped in to participate this week.  Lance Johnson and Art on The Ave NYC created such a fun experience to rep for Hip Hop 50. I am grateful to have been a part of it all!

Thank you to @westfieldworldtradecenter for making it possible to host and share local talent.  Much love to:
