EQUAL is a program that Spotify rolled out globally in 2021. The goal is to provide more equal opportunities for women in the music industry. According to the American Foundation Annenberg, survey results show that women artists were only 1/5 of the global artist population compared to men (2020). 👀😰. We need to empower our sisters and play their music more!!!
