When I think about the phrase “steel sharpens steel,” it’s hard not to think of the 3 Kings of EOW Big Zoo, ProPayne & Vice Verses. The @eodub/@eownyc family creating one of the long running open mics in New York City allowing spawning some of the greatest talents the world of Hip-Hop has ever seen. Vice Verses always showed love and the entire EOW family, the energy, and the community created one of the greatest independent gems for both NYC and Hip-Hop culture worldwide. From being in the crowd watching my friends for countless years body that stage to @majesty360nyc inviting me to rap at an EOW special event, to then getting props from and interviewed by Vice Verses after my set was beyond humbling.
To Vice’s family, his loved ones, the EOW family, Big Zoo, ProPayne, Nonezeo, Vanguard, and to Hip-Hop, I send my sincerest condolences. I am very sad about this news. Without EOW, and with the 3 Kings, I wouldn’t have met Majesty, DVS, Jess Jamez, and countless others.
